Juan Carlos Pérez Cortés. Juan Carlos holds a Ph. D. in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is a Full Professor. He is the director of the PRAIA (Perception, Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms) research group at Instituto Tecnológico de Informática (ITI).
He has leaded and coordinated research projects funded by public national and international entities in the field of Medical Imaging, Industrial Software, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Free Software, etc.
He teaches Master's degree and Ph.D. courses in Computer Systems Artificial Vision and Pattern Recognition.
