Laura Arnal Benedicto is a computer scientist by Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). She also studied for a Master's Degree in Automation and Industrial Computing by UPV.

For six years, she worked at the Institute of Design and Manufacturing (IDF) in computer vision projects, including people detection and automated car body defect inspection. She has contributed to four scientific publications, being the main author of “Detecting Dings and Dents on Specular Car Body Surfaces based on Optical Flow” in the Journal of Manufacturing Systems.

Since September 2018, she is working at R+D in perception, learning, and artificial intelligence group (PRAIA) at Instituto Tecnológico de Informática (ITI). Currently, she is involved in the project HELPSALUD a task related to predicting dense tissue percentage from genomic data in breast cancer.
