Rafael Llobet Azpitarte

Brief

Rafael Llobet received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnical University of Valencia (UPV), Spain, in 2006. He has worked for 9 years in two technological institutes. Since 2000 he works at UPV where he serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Computation. He collaborates with the Technological Institute of Informatics (ITI) where he develops his research. His current research interests include statistical pattern recognition and its application to image processing. His research is mainly focused on medical image processing, computer-aided diagnosis, OCR and statistical language modeling. He has more than 20 publications in international journals and conferences.
